Hello, my name is Tracy Donachie
I’m a Practitioner Psychologist (Sport & Exercise Psychology) registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a Chartered Psychologist, and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS).
So, what does that mean for you?
It means I help people like you perform, feel, and live better — whether that’s in sport, work, or everyday life.
How I Can Help
Many of the people I work with describe themselves as driven, high-achieving, or perfectionistic — but often feel held back by overthinking, self-criticism, or anxiety. My goal is to help you find a healthier, more balanced way to pursue your goals without losing your wellbeing along the way.
I’ll work with you to:
-
Manage stress, worry, and performance anxiety
-
Overcome fear of failure and self-doubt
-
Build confidence and self-compassion
-
Improve focus, resilience, and motivation
-
Create sustainable performance and wellbeing habits
My Approach
Every person is different, so the support I offer is completely tailored to you. I combine evidence-based sport psychology with practical strategies that actually fit your life.

Football, basketball, squash, table tennis, tennis, badminton, rugby, diving, swimming, gymnastics, cricket, golf, hockey, karate, baseball, equestrian, athletics, netball, clay pigeon shooting, rowing, volleyball, judo.
My approach draws on:

-
Yoga, breathing, and grounding techniques to help manage nerves and connect body and mind
Let’s Work Together
I offer one-to-one sessions online or in-person in Berwick-upon-Tweed and Newcastle. Whether you’re an athlete, coach, student, or professional, I can help you develop the tools to perform at your best — and feel good doing it.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to hear from you.
